Ontem (14), acabou a CinemaCon 2016, principal conferência mundial que traz as tendências e conteúdos para o mercado de exibição. Na noite de encerramento, atores, atrizes, produtores e diretores receberam os troféus do Big Screen Achievement Awards.

Criada pela Coca-Cola Company, a premiação reconhece os profissionais do cinema que se destacaram pela qualidade do seu trabalho. Ao longo desse ano, o diretor da CinemaCon, Mitch Neuhauser, já vinha anunciado alguns dos homenageados.
Entre os vencedores estão a atriz Susan Sarandon, que levou a estatueta Cinema Icon Award (Ícone do Cinema, em tradução livre); a atriz Bryce Dallas Howard, que recebeu o prêmio Excellence in Acting (Excelência em Atuação, em tradução livre); o ator Jesse Eisenberg, considerado Male Star of the Year (Ator do Ano, em tradução livre) e as atrizes Christina Applegate, Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, Kathryn Hahn e Annie Mumolo, que levaram o prêmio Female Stars of the Year (Estrelas Femininas do Ano, em tradução livre).
